Why was the title changed?

I was thinking, why would they change the title from the Gift to the Naming? Any thoughts?

I think its something to do with copyrights or something. Like in this series I know, they have copyrights on this title in one country so they had to change the title of the book to be able to publish it in another country.

Really? I thought the naming was the only one that got changed. Sort of like Harry Potter and the sorcorer's stone.

For some reason I think that Twilight's name was changed too...

Did you hear that it was going to be called FORKS?! With a picture of a forest on the front? No offence but i don't think i'd ever of picked it up had it been called forks. You can see some of the old book covers that stephenie was going to use on her site
